Brought on towards the end of the construction of the Oppenheimer bomb, main responsibilities included aesthetic work. It firstly needed to be prepped for painting and attaching to the rolling base, which included scrimming the whole piece with muslin and Black Idendan. Final accessories were added and the decision to polish the piece with graphite powder, using microfibre cloths to maximise the shine on the prop and giving it an authentic metallic look.
